Partagas Legados Limited Edition 2020

The Partagás Legado is now available in the UK in small quantities, as the only planned Limited Edition release from 2020. Delayed due to the global pandemic, these fine cigars resting in lacquered wooden boxes are proving to be well worth the wait.

The Legado release has been created in celebration of the famous brand’s 175th anniversary, having been established by Jaime Partagás Ravelo in 1845. Legado translates into English as Legacy and, as a testimony to its founder’s belief in the importance of the raw material used to roll his cigars, Partagás still selects all its leaf from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco region in Cuba.

In the factories of Cuba this vitola (cigar size) is known as a Hermoso No.2 and measures 6 1/8” (157mm) x 48 ring gauge.

Characterised as rich, deep, and earthy, Partagás is a full flavoured brand with a rustic edge. The slight sweetness found in the darker, maduro wrapper leaf adds another layer of flavour to the classic Partagás taste. This cigar is truly a fitting tribute to the legacy of Jaime Partagás Ravelo.
