Year Of The Ox
Year Of The Ox

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Davidoff takes inspiration from the Chinese zodiac and presents an exclusive collection of limited edition products honouring the Year of the Ox.

The Year of the Ox zodiac is characterised by diligence, dependability, strength and determination. They plough their own furrow and are never diverted from their course. Some see a stubborn creature, while others see strength of purpose in this character. Is it stubbornness or is it strength which makes the ox special? Both. As we know well, it is all in the blend.

The full-bodied Year of the Ox Cigar comes in a Gordo format, which reflects the powerful and proud ox. Wrapped in a shiny, oily and dark brown Dominican tobacco leaf it pleases the palate right from the start with a mixture of sweet and spicy notes. The Ecuadorian binder and blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos transform the second third of the taste journey to creamy, cedar and nutty notes. The last third draw stimulates the palate with dark chocolate, roasted coffee and creamy notes.

The limited edition cigars are presented in an Asian inspired box. The base of the box is carefully curved upwards, taking the shape of the horns of an ox, a key characteristic of the animal.

Limited to just 13,500 boxes worldwide the Davidoff Year of the Ox Cigars are a delightful addition to any cigar collection and the ideal gift for aficionados.
